Birthday Weekend Madness

Ouch. I have a sore throat today, and my body feels every bit like an 85 yr old man...but I figure it's most likely due to that flu that seems to be creeping around the 'patch.

OK...so here's how the last few days have panned out:

Thursday evening, I went out with Shoo to Browns and Brewhaus, and we were generally all kinds of messed up. OK, make that ME. I was drinking and the beer was going down waaay too easily. Hopefully everyone that I came across wasn't too offended by my state.

Friday was rough-simply because I didn't really sleep too well the night before, and I was hurting from the boozing aforementioned. I grabbed a 5 shot mocha before I went to Shoo's BBQ at 7:30 or so, and the caffeine carried me thyrough for a few hours. In fact, the party was a blast, and I was in good shape up until my midnight hour rolled around. At that point, the huge, free birthday drinks started to cross my path, and I began to feel the effects of the liquor. Long night short, I ended up in the basement of SHoo's neighbor, passed out with his dog wrapped around me and my hockey stick leaned up against the wall. Yeah. Rough night.

Yesterday (I stayed in on Saturday to work on my comics and recuperate) I played some roller hockey with Shoo's roommate Kyle, and went for a walk in the park last night. I think I got some sun, so the winter pallor is gone for a while longer. I woke up this morning feeling like ass, and here I am, in the gym, awaiting my first client. I want to die...or crawl up in the fetal position and stay like that for 48 hours. I hate feeling sick.
