Quick Update before the Weekend hits (and it will hit...hard)

Hey everyone. A few things that have been going on recently:

The local newspaper likes my comic, and they're requesting that I get off my ass and draft up three more quick, just in case I get sidelined by the plague and they have some extras on file. Cool. Better yet, they are giving me the go-ahead to do them in color...so my investment in an intuos pad last fall is going to start becoming a smart idea...even if it did cost me an arm and a leg. I'm stoked to get a chance to get published in color. It's like Sunday comics...dessert for a comic strip artist.

My birthday is Saturday, and although Kyle refrained from putting up my age (I'll be a crotchety old 29), I'm feeling young as hell. Acting even younger (I made a farting noise while standing behind a client doing her shoulder presses yesterday). Anyone that would like to raise a few beers with me is welcome-Shoo's hosting a bbq at his place tomorrow evening for preparty and I doubt he'd be opposed to having some extra comic relief...so please feel welcome to email me or call me if you're interested. Otherwise, you can meet up with the gang later when we all go out. I'd love to see you all out. The more, the merrier.
