What is it with being so damned sick all of a sudden?

I feel miserable. Deja Vu, people. Last Monday, and then again yesterday...I have a monster cold that is making me feel like shit. On a side note, allow me to update you with the latest and greatest...

I met with a woman that liked my writeup and illustration style in the paper, and wants me to do some freelance illustration work for her learning materials. My initial meeting with her this morning went really well, and I have to deliver some preliminary materials and an estimate to her on Thursday. Again...the trick thing here is feeling out how much I can justify charging. Fair and reasonable, yes...but not to the point where I feel like a cheap, smelly hooker after the job is delivered.

I can name three readers that are going to make snide comments from that last sentence. Dorks.

I have been interviewing with a financial company here in town the last few days as well, and I think that I'm going to be offered a job here soon. It's primarily customer service, and I'd be the only guy in an office full of women. Been there before...I know how to keep my mouth shut when I have to. Really. The best part about this is that the manager is a cool girl, and a former hockey player herself.

Not bad for a GIRL.

The job will have great benefits, stressful duties, and no internet...but it pays twice what the gym is paying, and I can deal. Hell, it's even located midway between my place and my gym that I belong to...so I can go workout in the winter without the trip being a huge hassle. NOICE.

I also bought a new phone the other day..a motorola razr...I'm such a tech dork. It's cool though. If you don't have the new number and you need it, you know how to get a hold of me. And if you DON'T...there's probably a good reason for that.
