The comic will not be published this week...

..but I was asked to do the illustrations for the Best Of Springfield edition, so I'll still be getting some love on the printed page. That's the reason I wasn't out at all this weekend. I had a few Labatt Bloos and a few Dewars n' waters while I worked like a frenzied maniac, but for the most part I was resolved to being chained in front of my drafting board and computer all weekend long.

Cool thing is, the illustrations are tight, considering I had such a fast turnaround on them.


Opening the entire best of section, this is as per the staff's request. I swear, it wasn't my idea to put a lumberjack in drag on the pages... But the other one is my concept for a nightlife section.

There are a few more that will be put in the pages, but since they would give away a few of the winners of the categories, I will hold off on putting them up. Well, that, and the fact that these are the two I like the most.

Wednesday is my last day training people at the gym. Whoot... I think I'll take advantage of my new free time and go play some ice hockey Thursday afternoon. My belly's growing from all of the inactivity I've had lately.

How was everyone else's weekend? Anybody else going to the Card v cub game next weekend? Booyah, bitches.
