Haven't been blogging much, so here's yer fix

Ahhh...spring is in full bloom around here now. I just took my first bike ride of the year (discounting the stationary bikes at the gym), and my legs feel like lead tonight. Which is a good thing. Nowhere to go now but up. I've been lazy for the past few months, packed on a good fifteen or twenty pounds of muffin-top goodness, and I'm ready to lose it again. Give me a month and a half, and then ask me about the 6 pack. Ugh. Fatty McGee is about to be sent packin'.

Work has been...well...work. On the freelance front, I may be getting some nice corporate hookups soon. After observing how much better designers get paid when they deal with corporations rather than individual, small time clientele...well, let's just say that I can charge twice my old rate without feeling any guilt. NICE. Not to count my chickens before they hatch, but I'm fairly optimistic about this summer. I gotta get some new jobs in order to justify buying the macbook pro laptop I've been drooling over for the past four months. Thinking 17" version. Max out the ram at 2gigs. Get some fuzzy dice to hang on the focker. Beauty.

I'll post some pix that I've been sitting on for a while. My new camera is TIGHT. I love it. The quality of the shots, the ease of use, and the video capabilities have kept me feeling good about that little purchase. If you need to buy a new digicam, I'd highly recommend it.

So tell me, people-what are you doing for the holiday weekend? I plan on getting back on the bike and burning off some more of my love handles, maybe bbq'ing with some friends, and perhaps even feeding my inner (not so inner) geek with the new X-Men movie.

Sorry for the delay in blogging. DG is to thank for this one (please stop harrassing me at work now, will ya?? ;) )

Peace.

Ever see the movie Multiplicity?

Just bought a new camera, and I have to tell ya- It beats the pants off of my old manual 35mm Pentax ZX-M...

It's a Canon Powershot sd630, and aside from the initial impression you get when you palm this sucker, it takes pretty solid pix, has a great 3" LCD, and is easy as hell to get around.

Oh, and I'll be seeing a lot of you yahoos this weekend in the 'patch. Peace.

Who told Father Time he could start using speed?

Dude. Where has the last month gone? Seems like I hit the snooze on Monday morning, and by the time I wipe the sleep out of my eyes, it's Wednesday evening. Crazy.

Sorry (again) for taking so long to update. I'm carrying a heavier workload with the loss of my former pal at work, so I tend to be wiped by the time I get home. I'm not intentionally being anti-social...well...no more than I usually am.

A few things to throw out to you yahoos reading:

Kyle- Fock. I didn't know you were in the city man. CALL me next time. I was dorkin in on Saturday night. I would have gladly shelved the dvd to meet up with you (you know this).

Shoo- I need you to come up soon as hell...and bring my cannondale with ya. I'm getting fat again.

GTG- I'm dl'ing that stuff we spoke about yesterday. Hold off if you can. I may use you for your discount too, if my momma doesn't have her education discount anymo'.

DG- Get back to work, slacker.

SC- What up, darlin?

Min- I know...I received your email, and I'll try to get those changes done asap. I love ya.

Stace- How's the new locale goin? Class? Dealin ok? Miss the emails. I'm sure your old employer is wondering why they have a new bump in bandwidth now that you're out of there.

OK...and so then there's this:

Spring is here! Hope y'all are doing well. Drop me a line sometime. I'm racking up mad anytime minutes because I'm not using the cell as much lately.

Hmmm...random reason to post a comment now...

What's the best album you're listening to now? OR...what's your opinion of the Stanley Cup Playoffs now?

Hmm...better stick with the first question.
